Damn bastards don't want to give me good rookies!
Now now, calm down redneck. Just because you spent more money than any other team on your farm system, you can't expect to recieve the "best" rookies every single year. Having the top (or in the top 5 or so) farm system (meaning an A-minus grade or higher) means that your team will search in greater lengths for the best prospects possible. Therefore, that's how the percieved increase in the likelihood of recieving the premier prospects (there is always one pitching/and non-pitching prospect that stands out from the rest each year) is increased.

When do women start playing?
The occasional woman on AAA rosters start to appear anywhere from 2015 through 2020.

Which city is the best to start out with?
If you are a beginner to BBMogul99 and want to win right away, either the Yankees or the Dodgers would be good choices. These teams are stocked with talent, and are located in huge markets, ensuring enormous broadcast revenue and sell-outs on a regular basis.

If you want a challenge, maintaining a winning, profitable small market team is about as challenging as they come. Major League cities such as Kansas City, Milwaukee, Cincinnati, Minnesota, and Pittsburgh are prototypical examples of the small market team. If you want, you can make your home town the home of a MLB team, utilizing the league editor option. The game comes with dozens of preset cities, complete with population, salary and location coordinates. The FAQ will cover this topic more later.
